The Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines (ANSAP) requires the following case completion:

•        6 cases of initiating/maintaining peripheral IV insertions;
•        6 cases of administering IV drugs; and
•        2 cases of administering and maintaining blood and blood components.

Registered Nurses participating in the 3-day Basic IV Therapy Training Program must have successfully participated in the preparations to be able to accomplish the required injections
